It started back in 2016 when one of our team had the bright idea of staying awake for a whole 24 hours. Not just staying awake, but sitting in front of a monitor donning our gaming headphones fuelled by energy drinks, food and the motivation to raise a lot of money.
We have had great success with this event over the past 3 years, raising over £12,000 for our various charities across Insomnia’16’17&’18. This year we are entering a gaming abyss in aid of Hertfordshire Action on Disability or HAD, a charity celebrating its 60th anniversary. HAD provide many services in and around Hertfordshire, including 24/7 accessible transport, a ‘Driving Mobility’ Accredited Driving Centre which conducts assessments for people with medical conditions and Equipment Centre providing assessments by Occupational Therapists and Trusted Advisors.
